Angelo Dogba

Angelo Dogba by his civil name, Ange Romain Akou is a rapper from Ivory Coast. It was in 1988 that he began by forming his rap group, the Crazy B, with his friends Sky Larock and Chase Boogie who nicknamed him "Angelo" after an influential member of the Italian Mafia. Later, in 1996, Angelo created his fusion hip-hop, a combination of American hip-hop, English jungle and African rhythms. The fruit of this work gives birth to REPRESENT, the third album of his career and his first solo album from which are taken the bits Dogba and Do not lower the arms which hoist him to the top of the charts in Ivory Coast and in Africa. The musical world in Côte d'Ivoire learns of his death on Wednesday January 25, 2023. See the link to the KOACI.COM site which broadcast the announcement.
