Gerald Simpson

DJ, record producer and musician. Born: February 16, 1967 (Moss Side, Manchester, UK) In the late 1980s he began experimenting with tape editing and drum machines forming the [b]Scratchbeat Masters[/b] ([a1330830]) before teaming up with [a240327], a collaboration between a number of crews, [b]Graham Massey[/b] and [b]Martin Price[/b] with whom he then formed the [a318]. In 1987 he launched his alias, [a656]. In 1991 he started his own label [l2888] Records. In 1998 the label closed and he relocating to New York. In early 2002 he returned to London and then moved to Berlin.
