Julie Bélanger Roy

Holding a master's degree both in Viola Performance and in Voice Performance, Julie Belanger Roy has been active on many scenes: Symphony Orchestra, Opera, Early Music, Folk, Rock and Metal. Julie's recent opera performances include the role of Tituba in the University of Tennessee production of The Crucible as well as Suor Zelatrice in the Utah Festival Opera production of Suor Angelica. Ms. Belanger Roy's last orchestra performances include engagements with the Symphony of the Mountains, Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra, Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and Québec Symphony Orchestra. The Canadian contralto and string player is also the front woman of the Symphonic Metal ensembles Märchenbilder and Gone in April. Julie endorses Realist Violin by David Gage
