Paul Murphy (33)

American blues, rock and jazz guitarist from Rhode Island, born in 1954 and died in 1994. Murphy joined the R&B/funk band Tabagi in the 1970s, then the jazz fusion group Channel One. During the 1980s, he played guitar with funk / soul band The Groovemasters. In 1991, he joined blues band The James Montgomery Band then moved ontoThe Duke Robillard Band. He died in 1994 while on tour with Robillard in Brazil. Murphy also worked as a freelance guitarist, including work with Roomful of Blues, Albert King, Buddy Guy, and Bob Diddley.
