American R&B/Soul singer, drummer, actor and TV show host. Married to [a203644] (1989). He was very successful performer at the early 60's and, as actor, he played in several blaxploitation movies of the 70s. Best know by the TV audience to being the first Black host on a game show (CBS, 1975). Born 17 March 1935, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Died 8 July 2022 in Montclair, New Jersey, USA.
