"Mulenga” = A tree struck by lightning Mulengasound are a collective forged together through a mutual love of the melting-pot of UK underground music from the last two decades. Their "sound" consists of trace elements of underground genres spanning from Jungle to UK-Funky, encased in a fortified wall of bass & submerged into the deep-ocean territories of a parallel future. The work of Mulengasound is created with a strong narrative & visual aesthetic, expanding horizons by celebrating a time when grotty nightclubs in dilapidated buildings were hidden portals to a distant vivid paradise.
