Ann Bogan

Ann Bogan who became Gladys Horton's replacement in the Marvelettes. However, by the time Bogan joined the group in 1968, The group struggled with recordings after the release of "Magician", with Motown offering little to no promotion... After the Marvelettes dissolved, singer Ann Bogan joined New Birth & also Love, Peace & Happiness The Andantes released a single of their own called "(Like A) Nightmare" b/w "If You Were Mine",(1964) though none of the actual Andantes sang lead on either track (future Marvelette Ann Bogan performed the lead vocals and never knew it was released). Sometimes refered to as "Anne Bogan"
