Sir Bruce Forsyth CBE (born 22 February 1928, London, England – died 18 August 2017) was a British entertainer and presenter. His career spanned 70 years, in which he went from struggling variety performer to Saturday night TV stardom. Father of singer [a758281] and actress Laura Forsyth. Married to singer [a11886305] from 1953 until their divorce in 1973.
