Tetsuo Sakurai is a Japanese jazz fusion bassist born on November 13th, 1957 in Tokyo, Japan. Besides his membership of renowned bands [a=Casiopea] and [a=Jimsaku], he has worked with several Japanese and international fusion artists around the world such as, [a=The Brecker Brothers], [a=Bob James], [a=Lee Ritenour], [a=Harvey Mason], [a=Vinnie Colaiuta], [a=Dennis Chambers], and [a=Senri Kawaguchi].
