Lejaren Hiller (b. 1924-02-23 in New York City; d. 1994-01-26 in Buffalo/New York) is an American composer, founder of [l389895] in 1958. Hiller's notable pupils included composers James Fulkerson, Larry Lake, Ilza Nogueira, David Rosenboom, Bernadette Speach and James Tenney.
