十二単

Juni Hitoe (Japanese: 十二単) is a heavy metal band from Tokyo, Kantō, Japan, that was formed in 1979. The band split up in 1986. Juni Hitoe appeared on the classic "Heavy Metal Force" comp LP on Explosion Records in 1984 and released two demo tapes during the early/mid '80s. One of their guitarists Hiroshi Yaegashi later played in [a=Bow Wow (2)]. Also, another guitarist, an earlier member Akifumi Koyanagi went on to form [a=Anthem (4)] in 1981. The keyboardist Yoshitaka Mikuni also joined Anthem in 1988. The drummer Kohta Igarashi is best known for his work as a member of [a=Judy And Mary]. Juni Hitoe's members released a full-length hard rock album titled "Again" in 1985 as the backing band for vocalist [a=Masanori Fujiwara]'s solo-project, which originally intended to be released as Juni Hitoe's first album. There's also a 5-song VHS video (released as Juni Hitoe) containing music video clips of the songs taken from the "Again" LP.
