Blackqueen

blackQueen started in 1998 in San Francisco out of the need to practice ritual magick via soundtrack horror metal, with stage antics and costumes that were ominously dark, yet sometimes bordered on the ridiculous and preposterous. Utilizing live ritual, pyrotechnics and subversive promotional tactics, blackQueen soon became known as a powerful and obscure musical entity, in the SF metal scene, and also to the average listener, and performance art fan. Currently, blackQueen has reactivated after a hiatus, and is active in their new home turf of the great northwest, with a new lineup, playing shows and writing material.
