Kati Gramß

Before Kati Gramß joined the German pop band Das Holz, she studied violin in Würzburg and played mainly in chamber music ensembles and the folk band Nem Gayda. Having moved to Berlin, she then became one of the two violinists of Das Holz. Nowadays, she is active as a session/studio musician in jazz, blues and classical ensembles and has collaborated, among others, with violinist Mike Rutledge and Berlin based jazz piano player Valentin Gregor. From 2001 on she has recorded and played with Ana Brandão and Carlos Bica (CD "DIZ" in 2001).
