Sten Nilsson

Swedish dance band singer and saxophonist, born 19 December 1941 in Karlskoga. Together with the brothers Ebbe Nilsson & Per Nilsson and Stanley Granström, he formed the dance band Sten & Stanley in 1962. Sten Nilsson also performs as a solo artist, and Sten and Ebbe have hosted many radio shows. Before Sten & Stanley, he played saxophone in the Sten Nilsson Jazzband and for a shorter time in Little Gerhard's backing band The G-Men, where Stanley Granström had been a part of before. Sten Nilsson has participated three times in Melodifestivalen. In 1967 he did it with "Svart-Olas polska", in 1969 with "Gång på gång" which finished in third place and in 1988 with "Kärlek är..." which was performed with the Nilsonettes.
