Sharna Liguz

Sharna Liguz, aka Sshh was born on September 10th 1984 in Bondi, New South Wales, Australia. She didn't have an easy childhood - her mother and her father parted ways when she was very young and she ended up bouncing backwards and forwards between the two of them. In total, she lived with her father for 10 out of 20 years and the last time she came back to live with him, she was 14 and had teenage attitude to burn. Neither of both of her parents knew how to deal with it. She was going to a very average school at the top of a very steep hill close to their apartment and complained bitterly about having to climb that hill every morning. One day towards the end of Year 10 she came and told her father she wanted to go to Bradfield College Of The Arts for Years 11 and 12. It was on the other side of the city. She was subsequently accepted into the National Art School, where she developed a strong drawing technique and also got frustrated with the confines of art school. Sharna went to London, UK and mer [a296352], son of Beatles legend Ringo Starr, and got together around 2004. They started making music casually about a year after they met, in their band Pengu!ns. Since then they’ve built a formidable arsenal of songs. They began playing shows around London around 2009, the first of which was listed in the NME as Gig Of The Week. Zak is an amazingly talented multi instrumentalist. The two of them together have created all their music and artwork themselves. They've become a self contained unit. A band. And Zak has switched to guitar so they can perform live as a duo. In many ways Pengu!ns is an extension of their relationship as they play out all the dramas of life on their stage. "It was amazing to watch the connection between them", tells her father. On Valentine's 2012 Sshh told her father that she recently got engaged to her boyfriend. She initially told him in 2011, when he was in London for a visit, that they planned to get married. Two weeks before that, she changed her Facebook status to 'engaged'. When they first got together, her father asked Zak what's the story and Zak told him that he really loves her. On 2021 they had their first daughter, Luna Lee Lightning, born on March 21. They married on March 21, 2022 at the Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood, LA, with Eddie Vedder as a Best Man.
