American songwriter and occasional producer, born 29th November 1940, in Houston, Texas and died 8th June 2024 aged 83. His most notable works included "The Eyes Of A New York Woman", "Hooked on a Feeling", "Suspicious Minds", "Roller Coaster" and "Always On My Mind" (co-written with [a=Johnny Christopher] and [a=Wayne Carson Thompson]).
