René Wulff

Danish drummer, vocalist, guitarist and songwriter, born 23 January 1950 in Hvidovre. Mostly known for his years as drummer in [a=C. V. Jørgensen], after which he named his 2018 autobiography "Det Ganske Lille Band". Wulff formed his first band at the age of 11, a guitar trio including childhood friend [a=Claus Wolter]. Bought his first drumkit at the age of 12 and played local youth clubs in a band throughout his teenage years. Founding member of [a=Hutlihut] in 1967. From the early 70's in [a=Sensory System] that disbanded in 1976. The same year shortly with both [a=Barbarella (7)] and [a=Charlatangruppen] for their first album before he in 1977 became drummer in [a=C. V. Jørgensen]. The backing band also recorded in their own name as [a=C.V. Moto]. In 1986 he was in the first line-up of [a=The Intellectuals (2)]. In 2010 he released his first solo-album, now as blues singer and guitarist.
