Douglas McCombs

Bassist and guitarist from Chicago (IL, USA). In 1982 he joined [a=Eleventh Dream Day] which is still active today. Together with [a=John Herndon], he founded [a=Tortoise] in 1988, then called Mosquito. In 1995 he worked for a period with [a=The For Carnation] and since 1997 has been a member of [a=Pullman]. In 1999 he started [a=Brokeback] - initially as a solo project and later a more stable four-piece format.
