Göran Ekstrand

Swedish rock singer, born January 6, 1952 in Stockholm. Ekstrand grew up in Blackeberg in Stockholm, went to high school in Färgelanda, Dalsland and later lived in Gothenburg. He was a singer on the rock group Motvind's first two albums and participated in the Nationalteaterns musical theater play Rockormen. He has also appeared on musical albums by Yalsa Band (1980) and Little Big Blues Band (1986). He also sang in the film "Ett anständigt liv" (1979). In Claes Eriksson's feature film version of Macken, Ekstrand sang "Pappa vad gör du i Köpenhamn", which became B-side on After Shave and Galenskaparna's hit single "Det ska va gött å leva". Ekstrand has also appeared in Kjell Sundvall's TV film Restauranten (1978), where he played the dishwasher Janne. Opponents included Arja Saijonmaa, Tommy Johnson and Lars Amble. He also starred in Carlos Lemo's TV movie Änglaverket.
