Tommy Engel

Tommy Engel (born 28. November 1949 in Cologne), is a German musician and TV actor. He started in music as a drummer in various 1960s bands, and was the in-house session drummer at Dierks studio in the 1970s. In parallel, he was also a singer and a founding member of the [a518132] (their front man until 1994), and later the Lammers/Steffen/Engel project [a=LSE]. He is a prominent figure in Cologne's music scene and has had multiple Carnival hits. His son [a=Kai Engel] is a member of [a=Brings]. He should not be confused with Thomas Engel or [a638249] (of Gebrüder Engel).
