Per Dunsö

Swedish actor, musician and composer, born June 23, 1949 in Ronneby. Dunsö grew up in Ronneby and moved with the family to Malmö in the early 1960s. During his high school years, he worked as a ticket caretaker at Malmö City Theater. For the money he earned at the theater, he bought his first guitar. At the city theater, he also came in contact with director Ronny Danielsson and got the chance to compose music for a number of children's theater performances. He also got to participate as an actor in the cabaret Plutbröst 1976; Ingalill Persson (a member of the mixed group Mixed media) also participated in the same performance, which he later married. The collaboration with Ronny Danielsson continued with children's radio programs, including the series "Doktor Kling och syster Violina". In 1974 he released his own solo album Dit vingarna bär. Dunsö studied musicology in Lund 1971–1972 and there he got to know the musician Ola Ström. The collaboration between Dunsö and Ström began in 1975 with the radio series Professor Djurström. During the 1980s, they both came to be responsible for a number of children's programs on TV, including Drömplanket, Dörren, Toffelhjältarna, Solstollarna and Cozmoz.
