Dutch bass guitarist / teacher. Born: December 1, 1970. Graduated from the conservatory of Alkmaar in 1998. Since August 2017 Mike is bass player with the Ruben Hoeke Band. Over the years Mike has played, filled in, recorded and participated in various bands, below is a brief overview. Fresh Cream - Amsterdam funk soul formation, with Fresh Cream Mike has played abroad several times, Oman, Gabon Africa, Italy, France and accompanied a variety of artists including Berget Lewis, Do, Lucretia van der Vloot (Voices of Soul). Jensen Houseband (TV show) As a freelancer Mike has played with the following bands and artists; Jan Smit, 3JS, Piet Veerman, BZN '66, Sandra St Victor, Jan Akkerman, Ruben Hoeke, Thé Lau. From 2008 to 2016 Mike has been mainly active in the Dutch theaters with the Soul Brothers, Soul & Disco Brothers & Soul Sisters (Bos theater productions) Ellen ten Damme - Cirque Stiletto in Carré. Mike has toured Suriname four times with Bryan B.
