Jack Matthew Tyson

Jack Matthew Tyson was born in the north of Belgium and was influenced musically by his siblings but got most of his interest in electronics when it came to music. His first project was called [a=The Real Weird Beat-O-Matics], a project set up mostly to joke around a bit, but nonetheless also to practice sequencing, recording, playing keyboards and such. This project generated a cassette containing 11 experimental tracks, made for friends only. The late eighties were dominated by the genre New Beat which inspired him to take making music a bit more seriously but it lasted until the nineties, after teaming up with [a=Pascal Schutters] when a successful demo was made which lead to a first official release by the name [a=T.S. Project]. Releases on Jumper Records followed (TS Mason, DJ Peavey Blaster and others) and several years later a New Beat revival tickled him to relaunch his attempts to generate tunes in this genre.
