Otto Brandenburg

Danish singer, actor, (born 4 September 1934, died 1 March 2007). Debut in 1957 with the schlager vocal quartet [a=Four Jacks], but left the group in 1958 to pursue a solo career as singer and actor. Screen roles, good looks and a soft, semi husky voice made him a teen idol in the late 50's and early 60's. From the late 60's into the 70's he released more ballads oriented material and even childrens songs and although he semi-retired in the 80's after years of alcoholism, he continued featuring in a range of movies and TV-series.
