Keith Forsey

Drummer, producer and songwriter born January 4, 1948 in London, England. Session musician ([a=Harold Faltermeyer] and [a=Giorgio Moroder] among others.) Best known songwriting credit, 'Don't You (Forget About Me)', becoming a mega-hit for [a=Simple Minds], originally intended for [a=Billy Idol]. Won an Academy Award in 1984 for co-writing 'Flashdance....What a Feelin''. Forsey has been Billy Idol's longtime producer. Also co-wrote 'Hot Stuff' with Harold Faltermeyer & Pete Bellotte for [a=Donna Summer]. Brother of [a626064].
