Chris Shiflett

Born May 6, 1971 in Santa Barbara, California. Best known as the lead guitarist for the rock band [a=Foo Fighters] having joined the band after the release of their third album [i]There Is Nothing Left to Lose[/i] - the first album he appeared on being [i]One by One[/i]. Prior to joining [a=Foo Fighters], Shiflett was lead guitarist for punk rock band [a=No Use For A Name]. He also played in punk rock cover band [a=Me First & The Gimme Gimmes], his own side-project, [a=Jackson United] as well as [i]Viva Death[/i] with his brother Scott. Shiflett often performed under the name [a=Jake Jackson (2)]. Brother of [a876935].
