Chamber orchestra set up by composer / conductor [a870942] around 1972 and folded a few years later again. In 1988 a new chamber orchestra was set up in Amsterdam and as it had no relation to the previous orchestra it was given the name [a882824] to clearly set it apart. [b]Note[/b]: for the chamber orchestra established in 1988 that later changed its name to Amsterdam Sinfonietta please use [a1152444].
