Harri Mänty

Swedish-Finnish guitarist and singer, born July 31, 1971 in Västerås in Västmanland, Sweden. During the years 1996–2006, he played accompaniment guitar in the group Kent. In January 2007, Kent's manager Martin Roos announced that Mänty had left the group in 2006. It later emerged that Mänty had been fired from Kent. Mänty was previously a singer in the hardcore / punk band No Security, which released several records on vinyl and the collection When the Gist Is Sucked from the Fruit of Welfare, the Ugly Faces of Truth Show on CD. The band toured in Europe several times. Mänty was also active as a sound engineer in the Studio Embassy at Balsta Music Castle, where he recorded early versions of Kent, among other things. He was also active in the music groups No Funktion on percussion and Gå å Bada on guitar during the early 90's. Mänty toured with singer [a1554304] in 2009.
