Indepth is Shahar Melamed, 26 years old from Israel. In Shahar’s résumé is a 5 year weekly residency at northern cub - LUNA, hosting some of the top names in electronic music. Shahar has also toured around the globe, spinning in places like UK, Spain, Hungary, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland and France. On the local scene, Shahar has played in venues like Oman 17, The Block, Baraka, Muzik, Maxim and Ultrasound & Festivals such as Love Parade, Holy Rave, DOOF and T.a.z festival. Among Shahar’s production works are “False sense of security”(2004),an ambient / IDM album that was picked as one of the top Israeli CD’s of 2004 by Israeli paper “haaretz”. Shahar's next album release, “Disappear Here” (2007) included a progressive trance / house side and a breakbeat side, and featured a colllaboration with Israeli producer JVIEWZ. 2009 Has seen Shahar focus on the Techno and minimal sounds, and signing with Swedish legends Spiral Trax Records. Later in the year, came a new Techno album “Zero Sum”, along with remixes to artists such as Karl Johan, Atmos, Tomic & more.
