Helene Weigel

Second wife of German playwright [a=Bertolt Brecht], appeared in many of his productions with the [a=Berliner Ensemble]. Also known as Helene Brecht-Weigel. Mother of [a=Stefan Brecht] and [a=Barbara Berg] and grandmother of [a=Johanna Schall]. Mother-in-law of [a=Ekkehard Schall] (Barbara Berg's husband). She was born 12 May 1900 in Vienna, Austria and died 6 May 1971 in Berlin, Germany.
