Sandro Salvati

Very influential italian-argentinian-chilean jazz, jazz-fusion, free-jazz, jazz-rock, avangarde, experimental music & pop saxophone player, songwriter, composer and musician. A truly pioneer in this genre in the raising (then) chilean jazz music scene, born 1936 in Buenos Aires, he developed the most of his career in Chile, where he died 2003 in Santiago. He also took part in other chilean jazz projects, the likes of "Chilean Jazz Messengers", "Nuevas Direcciones" and "The Six & Seven".
