Juha Torvinen

Finnish guitar player born on September 24, 1959. Best known as the guitarist of [a381585]. Distinctive mainly rhythm guitarist inspired by Anglophone punk choppiness and Chuck Berry, Lou Reed, Keith Richards, Brian Jones and Finland's Dave Lindholm.. His taut interplay with lead guitarist Pantse Syrjä in Eput (the Finnish nickname for Eppu Normaali) is one of the great modern rock guitar partnerships as rewarding to their song scores' recorded translation as Richards/Jones, the Fogerty brothers, the Knopfler brothers, McCoy/Nasty Suicide, Joan Jett/Lita Ford or Slash/Stradlin. Without the brilliance of Torvinen Eput's sound would never have shone so sleekly. In recent times he has written biographical work on the group.
