Surinamese-Dutch band founded in 1981 by ex-members of the [a=Happy Boys], the former backing band of [a=Lieve Hugo]. Starting out as a Kaseko-formation, they soon developed into a all around party band scoring a hit in 1985 with "Wasmasjien". The band is centered around lead singer Edgar 'Bugru' Burgos, the nephew of Lieve Hugo. They are based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands with roots in Paramaribo, Suriname.
