John Parsons

British guitarist born in Pontllanfraith, South Wales, UK. Studied guitar at the "Leeds College of Music" where he first met fellow guitarist , the late Nick Webb of [a=ACOUSTIC ALCHEMY]. He also joined the group 'She's French' which included Sergio Castillo, Tato Gomez, Paco Saval and Serge Maillard. From 1977 to 1990 he lived in Cologne, Germany where he joined the band 'Santiago' with Tato, Paco , Serge and Mario Argandoña. John also co-wrote over fifty songs with Acoustic Alchemy and after the tragic death of his good friend, Nick Webb in 1998, played Nick's guitar parts on three U.S. tours and the two following c.d.s. In Spain (where he lives since 1990) he has recorded and toured with most of the top spanish artists, including: [a=Miguel Ríos], [a=Juan Perro], [a=Luz Casal], [a=Joaquín Sabina], [a=Alex Ubago], [a=Javier Ruibal], [a=Pedro Guerra], [a=Alejandro Sanz], etc. In 2004, he arranged and produced the Miguel Rios cd. "60 MP3" which won "Best Rock Album" at the Spanish Music Awards 2004 as well as composing most of the music.
