Claus Pedersen

Danish musician, mainly guitarist, engineer, studio and label owner (b. 1945 in Aarhus). Part of the political rock scene in the early 70's, in a.o. [a=Med Kærlig Hilsen], [a=Musikpatruljen] and later in the satirical group [a758953]. In the late 70's he opened his own studio in Copenhagen, [l350597], and released a solo LP, [r=2773055], on his own label [l72591]. In the beginning the independent studio was used by a.o. punk bands from the [l12161] label. Over the years Pedersen and his label has developed an important role in reissuing hard to get music from the vaults of Danish progressive rock and punk music. For 14 years, beginning in the late 80's, Pedersen moved the Karma Studio to Aarhus while he was working as house engineer at [l447929].
