Phraktal

Formed in early 2014, Phraktal released their first album in 2015 to critical acclaim. Garnering support from top DJs/Producers Danny Tenaglia, Charlie May, Kolsch, Sam Paganini, Nick Warren, Robert Babicz, Hernan Cattaneo, Paul Oakenfold, Eats Everything, and Petar Dundov naming a few. With several releases licensed from the first album & appearances on labels such as Mixmag, Bakroom, and Iconyc. 2019 saw them break into the TOP 10 on Beatport, securing a #3 spot in the chart with their cover of the groundbreaking 'Chime' by Orbital. Phraktal steps it to a different level with their new studio album taking proceedings straight to the dance floor. 'Nightwalk' navigates the listener through a spectrum of deep, low-slung electronic grooves and dubbed-out rhythms that leave you wanting more. Cuts such as 'Look inside' the guys went back to basics with lush emotive melodies and stripped backbeats that raise the orgasmic mood to new plains. Making another appearance halfway through 'Nightwalk' the trio collaborated again with late 90’s techno icon Jamez of Touche and Mute records. The vocal track 'Forbidden' introduces vocalist Louise Browne into the fray to co-write a haunting and soothing vocal with pulsating hypnotic 909 rhythms. Flipping the groove on its head the album crescendos with 'Cabal', 'Kruschonk' and 'Myopic' pumping the bass for that insatiable climax. “Nightwalk” launched the new and exciting sub-label of one of dance music’s royalty - Limbo Records Black series, 2021 is shaping up to define Phraktal's future careers.
