Domenico Pierini

Classical violinist and conductor, born in Livorno in 1967. In 1988 he was invited to join the [a=Orchestra Del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino] by [a=Zubin Mehta] who selected him as First Violinist the following year. He has played with the [a=Orchestra del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari], the [a=Orquestra Simfònica De Barcelona I Nacional De Catalunya], ​​the [a=Orquesta Sinfonica De Bilbao], the [a=Orchestra Del Teatro La Fenice], and the [a=Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini]. In 1999, [a=Giuseppe Sinopoli] invited him to join as First Violin of the [a=Orchestra Del Teatro Dell'Opera Di Roma] and of the [a=Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia]. At the invitation of [a=Claudio Abbado], he collaborated from 2002 to 2007 with the [a=Lucerne Festival Orchestra]. In 2007 he conducted Cavalleria Rusticana at the Teatro della Pergola in Florence.
