Takeshi Ohmura

Takeshi Ohmura is a Japanese drummer and multi-instrumentalist, one of the earliest members of the controversial noise/experimental band [a78487]. Current whereabouts unknown. He played drums on several early releases by the ensemble, including the 1985 'First Recording,' which appeared on a 1993 [r=696283] 7", as well as later on '98 [r=517721]. Ohmura also played with [a472652], the Gerogerigegege's founder, on a self-titled [r=1188525] C-30 cassette released in 1985 by [a=Masami Akita]'s mailorder [l=ZSF Produkt]. Takeshi continued occasionally playing and recording with the Gerogerigegege up till the mid-nineties. He switched to guitar and bass on 1987–88 session (with [a2441399] on drums) that was published on '92 [m=23361] 7", and returned to the drum-kit in Dec '91, for a session with [a=Akira Shibazaki] (bass/guitar) which ended up on 1996 [r=5411990] 7" split with [a=Bastard Noise]. Ohmura again joined Juntaro in Oct-Nov '93 to record [r=410148] CD, one of the first 'serious' albums released under Gerogerigegege's name. This time, he jammed on the saxophone, while Yamanouchi was handling electronics and edited random easy-listening records and found sounds in the abstract, experimental collage.
