Mélissa Fontaine

French vocalist and songwriter [b]Mélissa Fontaine[/b] is mainly known for her own band [b][a=Chasing Violets][/b] in which share vocals duties with her sister [b][a=Sarah Fontaine][/b]. She also collaborated in several recordings from the international project [b][a=AOR][/b] mainly because the band producer [b][a=Frédéric Slama][/b] is the main man behind the songs of both projects. The Fontaine sisters started singing in their French language until they meet [b][a=Frédéric Slama][/b] in a [b][a=Toto][/b] concert backstage back to 2006, then later based in their common taste and influences for legends artists like [b][a=Journey][/b], [b][a=Kansas][/b], [b][a=Foreigner][/b] and [b][a=Toto][/b], they teamed to create [b][a=Chasing Violets][/b]
