Esther Bodin

Swedish pianist and educator, born 26 September 1931 in Brunflo parish in Jämtland. She has been a lecturer at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, has been a member of the Royal Academy of Music since 1984 and was named professor in 1988. She was married from 1962 to violinist Sven Karpe (1908–1999) and is the mother of Stefan Karpe.
