Peter K. Siegel

American folk archivist, producer, engineer, guitar and banjo player. In 1963, Siegel co-founded The Even Dozen Jug Band with [a542666]. Siegel became a staff producer and engineer for [l36195], where he founded and ran the [l652] [l221084]. Around 1971, he became the director of A&R for [l1610], followed by a stint as president of [l270021]. In 1991, he left the corporate world to be an independent producer and musician.
