Australian independent supergroup based in Sydney, combines the musical muscle of some of Australia’s most seasoned independent musicians whose collective pedigree extends back to the late 1970s. Joeys Coop draws on a wide palette of musical inspiration. Imagine mixing a touch of Velvet Underground with a reasonable dose of melodic pop, tinged with a good shot of alternative country and run it through a blues filter with a nod to the Stones and you’d come some way as to what the Coop sounds like.
