Rebecca Reese

Rebecca Reese is a music teacher and as a freelance soprano vocalist and cornett player active. Born and raised in the U.S.A., Rebecca Reese studied musicology at Cornell University (Ithaca, New York). She completed postgraduate studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with a focus on zinc with [a=Bruce Dickey], 1986-88 as holder of a Swiss federal scholarship. Singing apprenticeship with Rosmarie Hofmann (1992) Vocal master classes with Nigel Rogers and Paul Hillier (Early Music), and with Luisa Castelllani (Contemporary music). Since 2004 singing lessons at Jasmin Schmid for pop, jazz and musical singing.
