Overlord X

Hip hop artist from Hackney, London UK. Started off as two men piece for the first track released ("Let There Be Rock" which featured a second MC who would release a track as [a178439] two years later) but went on solo from the first 12" released. Got a record deal with [l8377] who then also created a sublabel for Overlord X and other X-Possee members, [l46051]. A third album, called “Mind Of A Menace” was recorded but remained unreleased when Island dropped the Mango Street sublabel in 1992 and Benjamin Balogun decided to end his career as Overlord X as the scene developed.
