Armandinho E O Trio Elétrico Dodô & Osmar

Brazilian band formed in 1974 by the four sons of [a=Osmar Macêdo], one of the creators of trio elétrico (a special type of truck with high sound capacity) along with [a=Dodô]. Their first release - Jubileu De Prata, 1974 - was released under the moniker Trio Elétrico Dodô & Osmar, to pay homage to the two creators of trio elétrico. After their debut, the brothers decided to change the band name to include [a=Armandinho] in it because the three other brothers thought he deserved recognition, as he had become a national success, performing live in 1969 on now defunct Brazilian TV channel TV Tupi.
