Gladsaxe Mandolin Orkester

Danish mandolin orchestra founded 1951 as "Søborg Mandolin Orkester". In 1961 the orchestra was attached to Gladsaxe Kor- og Musikskole and the name was changed to Gladsaxe Mandolin Orkester. In 1974 the orchestra consisted of 36 musicians: 10 mandolin 1, 9 mandolin 2, 5 mandola, 2 mandocelli, 9 guitars, 1 double bass.
