Sirpaul

SIRPAUL™ is an indie, electropop singer & producer from New York City. In 2004, he released his first album Switch, manifesting the likes of Erasure, Nine Inch Nails, George Michael and Madonna. In 2008, his strangely sexy video for ‘Do U’ made it's way into heavy rotation on the Logo television network. ‘Do U’ quickly attracted enough attention to make the MTV/Logo ‘Click List: Top 10 Videos of 2008.’ The track was also selected as the theme song for Logo’s NewNowNext Awards and was used in all of the marketing for the show. Crowned “NYC’s King of Electropop” by EQ, SIRPAUL’s online presence has exploded with over 80,000 views on YouTube, profile pages on MTV.com, VH1.com, AOLmusic & YahooMusic and features on elite music blogs like EQ, Allure of Sound & Bop2Pop. SIRPAUL’s music has been featured in the motion picture “Going Down In La-La Land”, in the web series “Hustling”, on the runway for designers like Dolce & Gabanna and in ad campaigns for Giorgio Armani & L'Oreal cosmetics. Sold-out concerts and appearances on the red carpet for Logo’s NewNowNext Awards have secured his spot as a contender for true pop stardom. Having performed in some of the most famous venues in the world from the legendary Mr. Black in NYC to Le Red Light in Paris, this past year SIRPAUL wowed audiences in Spain alongside international electropop stars like Andy Bell of Erasure, Cazwell, Fernando Garibay, Garcon Garcon & Monarchy for the 2012 Poptronik Festival in Sitges. As a producer, SIRPAUL has remixed songs for indie and mainstream recording artists such as Britney Spears, Carmen Electra, La Roux, Woman E, The Sound of Arrows & Baby Alpaca. In a world where most pop acts are manufactured, SIRPAUL is the creative force behind every aspect of his self-made career. He is the President & CEO of his own label Controversial Records, a singer, songwriter, producer, remixer and engineer. Today, the enormously talented artist is promoting his most critically acclaimed album to date, Seventh Star.
