Alexander Strandell

Swedish artist, producer, songwriter and singer, born November 9, 1992 in Gothenburg's southern archipelago. He broke through with his group Art Nation in 2014 which, among other things, performed the Gothia Cup WC song of the year 2016 and which have been nominated as Swedish Breakthrough of the Year, Swedish Group of the Year and Live Act of the Year in Gaffa. Strandell also fronts the supergroup [a9529039] along with members of the legendary band Europe, The Poodles and H.E.A.T. Strandell also sang in the Grammy-nominated group Amaranthe during a few gigs and was also nominated as Swedish Rock Voice of the Year 2016. He debuted as a solo artist in autumn 2018 with the single Bonfire Heart, which topped Swedish Spotify Viral and nominated the artist for Swedish Breakthrough of the Year in Gaffa. Bonfire Heart was also handpicked by Spotify for their list "50 Of The World Most Beautiful Love Songs" with over 1 million followers. Strandell has worked with Swedish and international stars such as the British producers James Kenosha, Edd Holloway, Per Magnusson and Andreas Stone who in turn have produced artists such as Birdy, Lewis Capaldi, Britney Spears, Westlife, John Lundvik, Exo, Dean Lewis, Backstreet Boys, Celine Dion, Josh Groban, RHODES and Gavin James. Strandell wrote the official Gothia Cup WC song 2016 which was performed at a packed Ullevi and on SVT. He has also sung with the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra (Русская филармония)[8] in the famous Moscow International House of Music in Russia. Strandell has appeared in several TV programs, such as Lotta På Liseberg, Bingolotto, Talang 2009, as well as Idol 2011 and Idol 2014. Together with Håkan Hellström and Thåström, Strandell is one of three artists who have worked closely Sweden's soul queen LaGaylia Frazier, on July 12, 2019 they released the single Stronger. Strandell inaugurated the Gothenburg Culture Festival 2019.
