Velryba

Czech rock group. Formed in 2006 as a backing band for Vláďa Šafránek on the occasion of the release of his solo album "Velryba". Grouping happened nearly 20 concerts throughout the country in 2006-2008, but for a considerable period of busy bandleader their activity dampened. In late 2013, the three original members of the band (Kočár, Kadlec, Kohout) decided to revive the group and invited new musicians: Lukáš Koranda on vocals and Petr "Lojzek" Slapnička on drums. The band played in November 2013 its first concert after the resurrection, and in December was followed by other performances, which sang as a guest of the original band leader Vladimír Šafránek. For quite a decent success that group obtains these performances, the musicians agreed to continue cooperation in this new composition, rotation, single with two songs from his repertoire and other concerts.
