Judi Dench

English actress, born 9 December 1934 in Heworth, York, England. She was married to [a=Michael Williams (8)] from 1971 until his death in 2001 and is the mother of [a=Finty Williams] and the sister of [a=Jeffery Dench]. Her many achievements include six Olivier Awards for her British stage appearances, and an Oscar for her role in "Shakespeare In Love". She was made a Dame of the British Empire in 1988.
